I am selling a vintage "Le Creuset 40" Large Oval Stoneware Dish in excellent condition. Bottom is stamped LE CREUSET 40 (slightly visible in photo of bottom). Dish is 17 in x 10 in on outer edge and weighs over 5 lbs. made to maintain even temps and prevent scorching. Dimpled edge is guide for an evenly fluted top crust. Resists scratches and stains and safe for knife cutting.Safe for freezer, microwave, oven (max 500 degrees) broiler, dishwasher. not recommended for stove top or a direct heat source.
